Passed quietly at Milton District Hospital on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 after a brief illness. She was surrounded with love and comfort from her entire family for the 4 days prior to her passing and was told repeatedly how much she was loved. She maintained her marvelous sense of humour to the end. Just a month shy of her 94th birthday, Freda left us to be with her father, Bill Phillips, her mother, Jenny Phillips, her sister, Noreen Wagner, her son Stephen Clarke and her son-in-law, Rob McKim. Freda was a strong, loving and supportive mother to Lynda (Rob [late]), Bill (Mary) and David (Doreen). She will also be lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Adam (Andrea), Scott, Jennifer (Bert), Jacqueline, Danielle and Jeffrey and her 4 adoring great-grandchildren, Ethan, Allie, Mila and Eloise. Her warmth, kindness and humour left a positive impression with all who knew her. She will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts and memories of her family and many friends.

The family will be receiving guests at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E. Milton 905-878-4452 from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, December 15th 2018 and from 11am to 1pm on Sunday. Funeral will begin at 1pm on Sunday after the visitation. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Freda to the Milton District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
