Passed away suddenly at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 with his family by his side. John Whalen, son of the late Henry J. Whalen and Mary E. LaPierre. Beloved husband of Gloria. Loving father of Henry Whalen and Georgia Whalen (Wojciech Kaczynski). Forever remembered by his grandchildren Jeron Whalen and Pawel Husar. Survived by his brothers-in-law; Orville Jarvis, Lionel Jarvis (Lynda), Weldon (Ed) Jarvis (Lori Druckemiller) and sister-in-law Sandra Jarvis. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Aubrey Jarvis and sister-in-law Rosina Bayliss. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 139 Martin St. Milton on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Souris, P.E.I.
